True selfworth comes when we know our self. It is not possible to get true selfworth through any happenings or possessions in the world. We see this by the fact that it is not uncommon to feel a lack of selfworth despite success in the world.
But lack of selfworth is really not a big thing. It is just a small indication that our relationship to ourselves has become a little bit superficial. And all we need to do is to seek a little bit deeper. To become a little more intimate with us selves. When we get to know ourselves, when we become a little more intimate with who we are, there is no chance that we can not feel that our self has a great worth. The beautiful thing is that when our own selfworth unfolds we see how beautiful everybody else is.
Comparison is really not possible. When we compare ourselves with others it is really just because we do not know who we are. Because when we know ourselves comparison no longer makes any sense, it just drops. Seeking selfworth through success in the world, wich is basically just looking for a positive comparison of one self compared to others makes no sense, because when you know the true worth of your self you also see the worth of everybody else. And it is such a beautiful experience. I think that one of the most beautiful riches I have experienced is the freedom and richness of knowing the beauty of myself and everybody else.
